The hotel was very nice and the beds were extremely comfortable. There were nice choices for breakfast and it was very good. The hotel staff were nice and accommodating.

The breakfast dining manager provided enthusiastic customer service ensuring everyone had what they needed and foods were restocked timely and hot. The front desk manager was very professional and also provided excellent customer service immediately taking care of a key issue when we were not able to access the workout room and later with our own room.

I stayed at the Fairfield on in Boerne over the weekend and I have never felt more like home. Everyone that works there was so hospitable. The towels were very fluffy. I fell in love with their shampoo, conditioner, and bath soap , and the bed was comfortable. the breakfast was very good but made it feel the best like home was the lady that worked in the breakfast area she was the nicest employee ever I would give this place a 12 if I could

This hotel was very dirty. The first room they gave us smelled like mold. The second room, we had a scorpion crawling around, the hot water didn’t work for showers, our toilet stopped working, we found a spider on our shoes, the overall room is small and dirty. There were nasty stains on the corner of the mattress. We didn’t complain about anything besides the scorpion, the spider and the moldy smell in the first room, the manager offered us 30$. We stayed there 9 nights!!! We found the scorpion night 2, and the spider night 7. The front staff felt bad about what we found in our room but the manager could’ve offered us more than 30$. Find somewhere better. The pool is small and it overall looks like an old apartment building.

5 minutes after booking, called back when I realized this is NOT in San Antonio as the name states. The manager on duty said she could not refund me because she didn't have authority, but would let the management know the next day and "take care of it" for me. So we booked another room that was in San Antonio for the night. The next day, I got an email saying they would not refund me. So I wasted $200+ on a room we didn't stay in. If the person on the phone would not have said she would take care of it then we would have drove out there and stayed instead of loosing money! Horrible customer service and communication cost me hundreds for nothing!!

The whirlpool was nice and warm to end an overcast week, the pool was large enough to wade in and adjacent to the whirlpool. A quiet walk to a Circle K convenience store and gas station for most desirables. Breakfasts were timely and organized well. Didn't like that our shower drained really slow and we had a younger group of bus travelers who were a bit unruly over the weekend.

Our check in at this property was awesome and the new staff member was extremely engaging and pleasant to speak with. The room was extremely large and had everything we needed. The food for Breakfast was Amazing and the only reason I am not choosing the highest rating is because the breakfast staff were extremely disruptive and involved in every move we made near the breakfast area. Another one of the food staff was discussing politics and religion and just shouldn't have been that engaged while we wanted to relax and have breakfast.

Failed to meet expectations
Check in was smooth and getting into the room was easy. However, once in the room we found it less than expected. The room was much smaller than hotels we’ve stayed in the same chain. With the exception of a stray hair I found in the shower and some dust on high surfaces, the room was clean, but old looking. There were cracks in the caulking around the shower and what looked like the start of mildew forming there. Also, I appreciate the desire to be environmentally responsible, but the “eco-friendly” toilet paper was so thin that it required more paper to wipe to do the same job. Finally, the free breakfast was awful looking. The powdered eggs in one serving tray reminded me of the food served to us in Navy boot camp back in the early 90s. And the toaster waffles were even worse looking. The fresh fruit looked like it had been dropped from a truck at high speed and everything smelled burnt. We did not eat anything.

As for the Marriott complimentary standard breakfast I feel compelled to defend your observations. It is Marriott policy that we use cage free eggs in any breakfast product we serve that contains eggs. We do not nor have we ever used/served powdered eggs. I am sorry you were not satisfied with the brand of waffles that we serve per Marriott, these waffles have been met with satisfaction by the majority of our guests. Our fruit is bought daily to ensure it’s freshness.Once again I am sorry our complimentary Marriott standard breakfast did not meet your expectations, this had to be frustrating. Great Service
This hotel is nice and decently priced. The king room was a little small, but it was perfect for just 2 people. The only 2 cons about this hotel is 1) the room does not a full length mirror and 2) the curtains would not close (I think it was broken, we did not notice till we had came back to the room after our event). The staff was very nice and sweet (we were able to check in a hour before). They have a coffee/water bar 24-7. Would defiantly recommend this hotel and will re stay if in the area.
