The perfect place to stay to maximize your chances of seeing quetzals. Not the cheapest but worth every dollar. Beautiful grounds even in the rain. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good restaurant with great service. Truly excellent guide in Greibin.

Wonderful lodges that sit in harmony with nature. We had a junior suite which was more spacious with an open fire place we used which was very cosy. Peaceful and beautiful gardens which attract many colourful birds. Helpful staff who were excellent when I was unwell on arrival from previous location. Maybe we were spoilt because, when we added an extra night to our booking, George upgraded us to a junior suite. This was a fantastic room, with huge picture windows by the bed, and in front of the sofa. When the weather got a bit iffy, we could just sit and watch the hummingbirds, or the clouds rolling in on the valley below. When it was sunny, we could sit outside on our terrace and watch the birds. Fantastic shopping on site, because the Dantica gallery is brilliant!

This stay was absolutely out of this world. Robert, the owner and designer of the place, is an excellent host, he left us a hand-written welcome note and some goodies. Sleeping next to the river and waking up to nature sounds feels like a movie. The house is well equipped with anything you might need. The design and coziness of the place is undeniable. A place as dreamy as it gets ✨️

We had a lovely 2 night stay here. The family were attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The location is stunning. The breakfast options are good (but not included in price) and the dinner is fine, again not included in price. Its a bit difficult to choose with no written menu - you get told the options at check in and have to choose in the afternoon. We got there by bus. Its possible by MUSOC bus. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed one night the views were amazing and the hummingbirds at the feeders were incredible to watch along with all the other birds around the hotel. The food was also very good we had breakfast and an evening meal. The rooms were lovely all wood inside like a log cabin.

Fantastic retreat away from hustle & bustle of Manuel Antonio, a car is needed! The beach is gorgeous and a 2 min walk away & we were lucky enough to have a family of sloths outside the guest house to watch!

This is a great place to stay if you enjoy tranquility, scenery and wildlife. Not great if you prefer a lively night scene. We ate at the restaurant every night because the food was so good but also because the drive back down the valley to the village was rather daunting in the dark. Great location, very relaxing up in the foothills of the chirripo range. We were surrounded by an abundance of birds and plants which helped us to really enjoy our stay. We instantly booked another night on arrival and only wish we could have stayed a little longer. We enjoyed the short trail in the hill behind the property, swimming in the pool and visiting the cloudbridge reserve.
