Excellent location, friendly staff, however extremely loud music playing at the restaurant/bar downstairs - with no patrons - until midnight all 3 night. Expect noise being so central, but the volume of the music was completely unacceptable.

The property is very conveniently located and with in minutes of the cathedral and plaza. The staff was very friendly. The rooftop has a great view of the cathedral and the city.

The hotel was located in a great area! Super close to everything in el Centro de San Miguel de Allende. Staff was nice and held our luggage and even let us check in early. The room was average nothing fancy standard room. This hotel does not have AC, nor room service, nor complimentary breakfast, nor common areas/amenities for guest to enjoy. So that was kind of the downside to things, but there is a bar located inside and a roof top restaurant both convenient on rainy days.

I was greeted amiably when I first arrived. This is a good thing since I arrived later in the evening after a long journey to Mexico. The staff member seemed to understand that I was tired and she showed me to my room and showed me how the key worked. During my stay, the woman who cleaned my room was very personable. She would see me outside of my room, sitting in the sun, and would always ask if it were convenient to clean my room at that time. She was quick but efficient. I loved the bed with its numerous sheets. I never felt cold. I enjoyed the presence of the cat and dog who added charm to the facility. On leaving day, the staff not only helped me arrange for a private taxi to the airport, they also helped me move my luggage to the waiting taxi. On top of all of this, the hotel is a short walk to the jardin principal. Bonus! The reasons I did not shade in a 5th star: (1) the shower had no pressure and the water was not very hot; and (2) the room let in a lot of noise in the evening from people partying. I usually sleep well through noise but the staff might take note of this in case they have some guests who sleep lightly.

The hotel is a great location and has nice rooftop bar Selina. They put us in an interior room close to the bar, #006. It smelled moldy / musty. There was no ac and was rather warm during the night since the only window opened to the hallway. Recommend if you can request a better room than what we had.

I'm glad I chose this hotel. The people there were SO NICE. They went out of their way to help you. And luckily the people at the front desk also spoke English. The room was nice and cool. (It was warm outside - 73° - in July, but maybe it's my jeans.) The double room is a nice size, with a very high ceiling - heat rises. The bed is great. If you need a hairdryer, ask at the desk ahead of time. And, of course, i used the wifi. For you young ones, the weekend is a hsppening time. The locstion is perfect- across from the tallest building, so you can't get too lost. The breakfast is copious. If you need a hair dryer, ask at the front desk ahead of time. The hotel is very pretty rooms also, but being so close to everything make it a bit noisy, specially in the mornings, 7-8am always music from other places. But extremely convenient location to walk around.
