"We got off to a rough start here when the room my mom wanted was not available when we arrived. We were told the last person who stayed there did not check out on time. My mom was upset with this but the property manager Becky made up for it by giving us an upgraded room which made our day. The lobby bar is a town hangout of sorts so the place comes alive at night. There is plenty to walk to from this hotel so if you’re looking for a historic hotel within walkable distance to a museum, bars and shops, this is the place."

"Def needed the unplug night at the lake. The RV was very clean and nice to stay in. We picked this spot because of the play area, kayaks, and fishing. Something for everyone. When we arrived we quickly noticed how infested this property is of spiders. Kids could not play n the truely amazing play ground, despite us trying to clear it, there were just too many spiders already nestled in. The actual property was beautiful and the water was great, the kids were able to swim right off the dock area. Kayaking was something were excited to do but again, the pile of kayaks was covered in webs and large spiders. I think this small issue would really bring this space to the next level. We still really enjoyed our stay and the rv was stocked of dishes. Linens clean. Good space for guys just wanting to fish in peace but for kids I would opt for another space. Owner was so nice and respectful, he let us check in early so it was a big plus! Thank you for the enjoyable weekend. Very peaceful and beautiful!"
