We tried a couple of times without forcing it and called management. Thankfully, a staff member let us in with a spare. The real issue arose at checkout. The front office demanded a me to pay for the key replacement fee, claiming I bent the key because I "didn't know how to open the door." This logic...

"This is a true find in the center of Turin. I had the pleasure of staying here for a week, even though I was injured and they took such good care of me here. It’s quite peaceful somebody’s always playing piano in the Piazza every day and it’s just a lovely setting and a very clean and wonderful place to stay. There are many restaurants around and cafés and museums."

"This is a small apartment about 15 minute walk from the Porta Nuova train station and the very elegant city centre parade. Maria is very friendly and helpful. Spotless clean and well equipped. Very central for touring the city. The room had little natural sunlight. No couch or arm chair but otherwise very comfortable."
