"It had been over 20 years since I’d been to Hotel Mead and literally nothing has changed. Could definitely use some updating. Wall paper peeling away. Stained up old furniture. Mattresses that have seen better days and bathrooms from 1982. Served its purpose tho. The pool itself seemed well maintained and breakfast was ok (even if it was a bit cold). Bring your house shoes if you decide to stay!"

"Was clean, nice room and bedding. Amenities were slim. Just refridge and small microwave. No coffee maker. Long plumbing feed from hot water heater to secondary building meant it took a while to get hot water in the shower, but was fine when it came. Small size TV, but did have a full gamut of Spectrum cable TV service, which is rather uncommon in hotels and very welcomed. We were able to watch the Brewers game and Golf channel, which is not normally possible in a lot of hotels. Convenient location to Lake Arrowhead and Sand Valley golf (16 minute drive straight up HWY 13). If you just want something basic for a good nights sleep (was very quiet) and don't want to pay a lot of money for amenities, this is the best fit and closest lodging to the golf courses for under $100."

"It was quiet. The room smelled musty but I expected that in Wisconsin. The outlets didn’t work by the bathroom sink. That was a pain with my blow dryer. But in was ok for 1 night"

"Check in - arrived very late. Staff was helpful but we didn’t receive the wifi code. Once in the room, it was stuffy and 85 degrees. One packet of conditioning shampoo was provided for two people for two nights. When asked for more, was given body lotion. Wash clothes were stained and bath towels were thread bare with several holes. "
