"Upon checking in for our mini vacay we were greeted by a wonderful front desk staff member, I didn’t catch her name but she was nothing but pleasant. She even offered me a treat for our four legged family member that joined along on our trip. The room had a mold mildew smell which could have also been because it was a pet friendly room. Also wish the air conditioner was newer or better maintained. It took overnight for it to actually cool the room down. Other than that though the location was wonderful, multiple pools were beautiful and enjoyable.
Breakfast in the morning was more than sufficient and the breakfast staff were welcoming and accommodating, they even offer gluten and dairy free options upon request. The waffles were delicious, especially the red velvet ones. Our family took a walk in the evening to the downtown area which was mostly closed down but we got some ice cream close by and enjoyed the scenic walk. Thank you to all at the hotel for the hospitality."
