"It was not at all what we thought it was from the pictures, but it was one of the most quiet places I've ever stayed. Peaceful! It offers incredible proximity to Blue Mesa. The staff was some of the nicest I ever come across and very helpful. Overall, I'd definitely stay again in the future."

"We were tired of being around all the tourists and wanted something that said ā€œWelcome to Coloradoā€. This was the place. We received emails from the resort with detailed directions on driving and registration that were easy to follow. The five mile drive up the gravel road took a little longer than expected because a flock of sheep that decided they needed to cross the road in front of us! We had dinner in the restaurant that was good. Many locals were there eating as well. It happened to be close to 90 degrees at 4:00 when we arrived and since there is no air conditioning it took awhile for the room to cool down after the sunset. A fan in the window was provided. The room was up dated and cute, although a little small. It would have been nice to have a chair in the room to have a place other than just the bed to sit on. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend it to others."
