"I am shocked that the Inn at the Beach has 9.8 stars. The location was the best feature, close to the beach and walkable to downtown.
We arrived to a room filled with black hair all over the bathroom, a cockroach on the floor, and a smell that lasted the whole weekend. We politely told the front desk and they re-cleaned the room but there was still black hair everywhere. We were told the reason for the smell was the sprinklers were on earlier in the day. "This is the third time I’ve stayed in this hotel. The first time was perfect. The last two times they were issues my second time it was extremely noisy, banging on walls all night and people standing and talking in front of my door. This time I was putting in a room where the air conditioning could not be adjusted. It can only be set to 64°, which was extremely cold. Each day I am told a manager reach out to me, but they never do forgiven false promises of a discounted rate."

We had a 2 bedroom unit which appeared to be a full kitchen from the pictures. It was not. There was a fridge/ microwave/ a hot plate that took us a while to figure out.
Other complaints it there were no locks on the bedroom doors or the bathrooms."

"We loved this place! It was so pretty with walk ways and the murals painted on the sides of the villas.
