"We had a wonderful time at L’Alpage recently. It is such a beautiful cottage, in a very peaceful location… exactly what we needed for a relaxing family getaway. The accommodation itself was excellent, with the well equipped kitchen and laundry facilities a big plus. A lovely stove and lots of wood meant we stayed warm every night. "We are a family of four, with two college-age children, and had a wonderful stay at the Samovar. We stayed in one of the family rooms, which was perfect for us (with two beds in a spacious upstairs loft). The hotel is perfectly located -- literally across the street from the Dailles gondola (and only about a block from the funicular to the summit). There are a couple of restaurants nearby, including a great Savoyarde spot across the street. There is a regular shuttle bus to the main village of...
