"I was a solo traveler visiting Edinburgh for the first time- I had originally booked a hotel on Victoria street but switched to the Horton for a more price convienent option. I’m very happy I did- I was only about a 10 minute walk from Victoria street and it was nice to not wake up right in the middle of all the tourists.
I called the hotel ahead of time and explained I was a solo traveler so requested not to put me on a ground floor. They were very accommodating putting me on a second floor...

"Sehr nettes Personal und sehr geräumige Zimmer. Unsere Tochter hat das Hallenbad geliebt. Es gab ausreichend Parkplätze und die Betten waren bequem. Das Frühstück war typisch schottisch und weniger meins. "

"The room was spacious yet cozy, clean, and very well appointed. The bed was so comfortable. The staff were warm, courteous, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant was also excellent. "
