Unfortunately, our experience with this place started off as a nightmare. We emailed them more than 45 days in advance to confirm payment of the park fees for two people and received no response. As our arrival date got closer, we had to repeatedly email and call just to get basic information.When we tried to confirm airport pickup, the staff became overly aggressive about selling us their game drive package. We clearly explained that we already had some activities booked and would decide after arriving, but they refused to budge. It felt as though if we didn’t book their game drive, we would not receive airport transportation. Their main focus seemed to be getting money rather than providing service.
We were repeatedly told that card payments “didn’t work” and that only cash was accepted, which raised serious concerns. We were nearly charged for the same things twice, so please be very careful. The main individuals involved in these issues were Emmanuel and Patrick. I was forced to wire money for park fees, transportation, and airport pickup. Despite tipping, the service noticeably declined after our stay, especially when it came to attitudes around tips.
On a positive note, the manager, Ajy, was very helpful. When I called him about an hour before landing, he stepped in and ensured we at least had transportation to the hotel, which we truly appreciated. The food was good, and the chef was very accommodating with my husband’s dietary preferences.
