5-star accommodation in a culturally rich ambiance -- within a village! Artsy, classy, well-thought-out architecture and decor. There is that homey feel to this hotel. My husband and I are looking forward to another visit/stay.
Although most reviews I found on this hotel mentioned the noise from loudspeakers of the mosques nearby, this did not bother us since we have lived in Indonesia for 28 years now...earplugs are available at the bedside for those who are new to these sounds.

The hotel is in a good location near restaurants if you don't want to eat at the hotel. It is very well maintained throughout, has a lovely swimming pool and pool area and a well equipped gym.
The view from our balcony over Jogyakarta was great. The room had a small balcony, mattress was comfortable and it was in general very clean.
Breakfast had a fantastic variety with savoury dishes, an Indonesian corner, an egg corner where you can order omelette or whatever egg dish you'd like to have and...

They have a very nice room with clean sheets and clean room. Their staff also really friendly and the breakfast also good. Since i do some work during my trip, having a great WiFi so important, and i was so lucky to stay here because their connection really good. Really recommend this hotel.

The staff here are brilliant and a credit to themselves. They are polite, always smiling and can never do too much for you. What let’s the hotel down is the state of the sheets and towels. They really need replacing. Towels were frayed and my sheet had a hole which they did change for a better one.

A friend recommended this place and it exceeded our expectations. Our room/bungalow was in ten minidress of a serene garden by a lovely swimming pool and with our own little fish pond out front. Complimentary snacks where delivered to our patio each afternoon. Rooms lovely and comfortable, equipped with electric kettle. We enjoyed being near ViaVia which has a nice restaurant and can organize all kinds of tours and drivers. I will definitely stay here on future visits.
