"I loved the room It was very spacious.. I love the history of the building( architecture too) and the convenience to everything downtown."

"Georgous, but pricey. Would have loved to go to the speakeasy on our first night but it was closed for a private event. Not open during 2nd night. Food in the basic restaurant was OK, but we found more economical options in d-town Roanoke across the bridge on 2nd night."

"It's a beautiful space. The host was super helpful. Check in and check out was easy. The location is great. We visited several local restaurants and the transportation museum because of the informational packet within the unit. We would definitely stay again and recommend this place to our friends and family."

"The room was nice and clean, but we were out of conditioner and the Vault restaurant closed early (we were only there for one night and the restaurant was a big part of our plans.)"

"Office manager was very kind and response was very fast. The location is close to many convenient stores to buy food or some other travel items. There is a fire station next to the hotel and so I felt safe."

"The room and common areas were clean. The front desk was helpful in giving us dinner recommendations.. just off the lobby there is a really nice outdoor sitting area.."

"Beautiful scenery. Room was great. Only issue was the refrigerator didn’t work. The iron was cracked on the base so didn’t stand well but it worked fine. I would stay there again!"

"Lobby area and bar were fine, but the room and hallways smelled like old wet clothes. The smell in the hall was just as bad. Had to open sliding door overnight to help. Dark and dingy overall. Not worth the Marriott price tag by any means. Not a hotel I will come back to. Also, they charge extra if you drive. Really, $5 to park at the hotel Im staying at."

"Nice room and everything looked new. Sadly only plugs on one side of the bed. And the handheld shower part was broken. But it was clean and nice."

"Entire 5th floor AC turned off. My wife and I got into town late so once checking in we both were excited to get some rest. However, once we got upstairs to our floor it was extremely hot and clammy. In our room specifically our thermostat read 85°. Our AC was completely turned off so we both had to go to bed sweating. I did turn the unit on to 60° and ran it all night. When we woke up this morning the room had only cooled down to 78°."
