"First room was FILTHY. Food in every drawer. Dog food on the floor. Bathroom covered in hair. Food under the beds. Looks like the house keepers went in and only made the beds and did nothing else. Then we got the second room because I was not going to have my CHILD in that first room. Second room was better, but not much. The hotel advertised they have a pool and hot tub. They DO NOT have a working pool or hot tub. I will NEVER stay in this hotel again. And honestly I think the people in charge owe me money. "

"An older hotel in need of love and attention. It was hamvention in nearby Xenia so everything gets booked early. Booked it about 2 months prior. All the furniture was leftover. The desk had one leg that was about to be fall off. I pointed it out to the staff after checking in. Much of the wooden furniture had paint slipped here and there. The bathtub. Took 20 minutes to drain. The positive thing was that the bed was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ample. Nothing elaborate, but not bad. "

"We had to change hotels from one that I won’t mention to this Drury Inn and paid only $30 more for an amazing upgrade!! A nice evening meal was included between 6:00-7:30pm. Breakfast was very good. The best biscuits and gravy I have ever had in a hotel. I like them crispy. Friendly staff and very clean room. The room had a nice neutral smell - not strong with air freshener or cleaning products. Just clean. The bed was very comfortable. Most beds in hotels are a bit too firm for me, but this was perfect. I have never been disappointed in a Drury Inn. And this one was exceptional!"

"Located right across from the University of Dayton, I recommend this property. It was my first time in Dayton and at a Marriott property. Amenities were great. Nice to have another breakfast area for us on the 6th floor! The cost is a bit more than I am used to but I was attending a graduation and wanted to be with others. My only issue (a small one) was that while the room was lovely and appeared clean, the carpet did not appear to have been vacuumed. I checked-in around midnight and went right to bed. In the morning, in the light of day, I noticed sock lint and other light colored debris on the carpet and near couch. I bit gross but I just wore slippers."

"Would not recommend this hotel. Half the outlets didn’t work. Not even small samples of shampoo or conditioner. No iron, iron board, coffeemaker or safe to put valuables in. Requested walk-in shower, they don’t have any & with that ,they put us on the 2nd floor, which meant climb the outside stairs(no elevator) & I had my 94 yr old mother with me. We had this booked for 2 nites , but left after the 1st nite, to find something more decent."
