I stayed here multiple weeks for a trip to visit family in Shanghai, and it was a fantastic home base. The hotel is in an excellent location close to multiple bus stops and between two subway stops on the 8, 10 and 14 lines (Laoximen and Dashinie), making is very convenient to get around. The hotel is also walking distance to shopping areas and well known central neighborhoods in Shanghai. The room had a small fridge (super important for me), and was also large with very comfortable beds, offering plenty of storage and counter space, making it easy to work from the hotel and store big suitcases. The staff were generally quite helpful and kind. The one con, and this is a big one, is that the wifi and mobile signal in the hotel are terrible - it was nearly impossible to work or use my phone, so I had to buy a pocket wifi device to get anything done - which helped, but was still not great since it relies on mobile signal for wifi. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel with the one caveat, and absolutely plan to stay again in the future, but I hope the wifi and mobile signal issues can be resolved.
