"Awful experience!!! My husband and I checked in at DoubleTree by Hilton Chengdu - Longquanyi on 9 June. While we were using the lift from 21th floor to Ground floor lobby at night, suddenly the lift(p1) dropped to 14th floor, then dropped to 13th floor again and stopped there. "The property is pretty new. No onsite gym. Has a good sized lounge on the first floor right next to the dining area. "When i got to the border, the border control staff called the hotel to confirm I was staying there. They could not get through to the hotel at first. Once they did get through they told us the hotel was closed for refurbishment and that we had to book another hotel! Which we did via hotels.com. Now we are in a battle to get a refund as the hotel /and hotels.com are calling it a cancellation. 0/5 stars. "
