"Excellent resort style cabins with self contained amenities. Close to Broken River trails system and Platypus viewing. I recommend this accommodation if Broken River is s destination for you. Watch out for message from management with room details if arriving after normal reception hours, ie after 4:30 pm or so."

"Close to national parks, bushwalking and viewing of platypus. Not a lot of bird life to be had - arrived in the clouds and mist, departed the same way with some rain thrown in.
Wi-fi and TV connections were non-existent during our stay - many drop outs and breaking up of signal."

"This was a fantastic retreat. I was unsure what to expect but found it was better than I expected, somehow. As a family with young kids, my two just loved if from the moment we arrived. The cabin had toys and fun items (& chocolate) as well as having an outdoor play space and a creek to go exploring. But with undercover parking, outdoor fire pit, bbq on porch, the accommodation was just fantastic. Couldn't be happier with our stay"

"Staff were friendly. Communication was excellent. Bed and lounge need to be updated. Lounge is sunken in the middle and the bed felt like one side had broken slats.
We stay at Monterey often and this was the worst nights sleep we have ever had."

"2nd stay there and a great spot, room was not directly in the afternoon sun, so the room is not so boiling hot that the AC couldn’t cope,unlike the last place we stayed at across the road starting with an O, on our last visit to MacKay."

"I would never stay here again. The room stunk of smoke, there were marks on the carpet & walls. Dead bugs on the window sill. Tv remote didn't work. The bed was the worst I've slept in for a long time. Two singles pushed together which is standard in a lot of places these days but if u lay on one side there was a 5-10cm height difference on the two sides. It was not pleasant. Other than the windows above the bed there's no natural light AND there's a building site behind you that start wk at...
