"Good spot on quiet road. Beach & snorkeling across the road. Rooms good size. The pool is nice and food at the restaurant is good. Breakfast is basic. But easy walk to a few cafes etc. It is good value for money place to stay."

"Our room overlooked the sea and we had a patio on the second floor. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. Our room was maintained daily which was nice to come back and have a fresh bed and towels. The connivence of having little shops on the premises and very local enough to walk to with a sunny view and sunset view in the evenings was something else. Would 1000% go back if for nothing else but to see the family we made whilst staying. 🌸❤️🙏"

The staff at Kana Restaurant were the highlight of our trip, with always accommodating my son with his dietary needs. We absolutely were gutted to leave and would definitely visit here again. "Paid for 2 x family vila and got 2 x standard rooms. With broken showers. Stain on bedsheets. 1 x smelly towel. Aircon remote in 1 x room didn’t work and the other room had water leaking from aircon pipe. Worst experience for me and my guests in my birthday. Need a refund for my downgrade that never happened. Music going on till 10:30pm. I was then shifted to a room at 11:30pm as they couldn’t find a remote control to turn the ac off. Please avoid this vila at all cost."

"Massively disappointed. We booked & paid for a private plunge pool bure and arrived at the hotel to find we had a been allocated a beach front bure. The hotel did nothing to compensate or reimburse the difference in cost. Look at the bad reviews on most booking platforms, it seems to have happened regularly at Tambua Sands."

"We stayed here for 3 nights, from the time we check in easy communication with Hannah she also ensure us if we need anything just let her know she will try accomodate our needs. We booked queen double bed for 2 adults 1 child (5yr old) we love our room so cosy. We were lucky to have the whole villa to ourselves for 3 days. Our little one enjoyed the swimming pool and running around with no worries and the owner so lovely we had a full on conversation about life and future opportunities in...

"Pros- The bures were really spacious and the beds comfy, gardens lush and well maintained. Breakfast had enough choice. Staff were very nice and helpful. Cons- The resort is definitely in need of maintenance everything is starting to look like it’s falling apart particularly around the pool restaurant area. We didn’t have a hot shower the whole time we were there. The food was just ok and not many options around."

"A perfect stay at this beautiful resort. The staff was exceptional, the dining/food options were great for a weeklong stay. We had a Club Level room, which gave us access to free breakfasts, high tea and happy hour appetizers daily - the BEST! The Club Level also has its own pool perched on the hill with a beautiful view, with internet access/work area and a fun place to play cards. "Had such an amazing time at the beautiful peaceful location just 5-10min walk from Maui bay beach. Property: I came as a little solo retreat to take a break from NZ winters. The unit was exceptionally clean, fully stocked and I appreciate being able to cook myself- although there are a few restaurants and grocery store within 10min walk. The bed was extremely comfortable and I loved the fact I could get away from bright lights at night and the blackout blinds. The wifi was perfect for...

"Well there was noise coming out from it at night , unsafe environment and then also the furniture was torn and look so old and ugly . Not even breakfast provided not the bedsheets. Towels had stains and so does bedspread . Unsafe since the security level is so poor."
