"A very nice stay in Silkeborg. Lovely helpful staff at check-in. Nice and spacious suite 9 in the old building. I wouldn’t choose a room in the main building which has the feeling still of an old hospital in the corridors. The hotel has a very nice garden setting and peaceful location just outside the city centre and close to a beautiful lakeside swimming area. Easy parking onsite. "The room is inside an old cottage. The bathroom downstairs has no cover on its small window - which could have been replaced with stained glass or even stickers easily for more privacy. Lots of crackling sound when walking on upper floor, which is normal for this type of property.
Bright sides:
Clean room.
Excellent breakfast and super friendly staff.
Free parking.
Nice nature around the area."

"Recepción cerrada al llegar y sin instrucciones de entrada. Encontramos la habitación con la llave puesta y un cartel con nuestro nombre. Éramos dos adultos y un niño de 12 años y sólo teníamos dos camas de 90 y no había ni supletoria ni sofá. Como no había nadie tuvimos que dormir juntos.
A la mañana siguiente se excusaron diciendo que ellos no tienen acceso a la edad del niño y que no nos iban a cobrar la supletoria cuando yo contraté y pagué sitio para tres personas"
