"A great hotel 5 minutes from the main Plaza. Excellent breakfast and restaurant. They provide a packed lunch if you are going for day tours which usually leave very early. The rooms are spotless and there's always plenty of hot water. The staff were amazing. Friendly and helpful. We used their recommended tour agent Kati and she was wonderful . Highly recommended hotel I can't say enough good things about Casa Kantu"

"We booked a quadruple room with a 2nd floor (like a loft) for 4 people in Oct 2026. Two double beds on ground floor and two twins on loft. My adult children tried to sleep on the upper deck but was too hot. The room has no AC but without screens on the sliding door, opening them to sleep drew in lots of bugs. So the 4 of us ended up sleeping on 2 double beds, which was tight. Otherwise, the amenities in the room were fine. The buffet breakfast selection was reasonable. You can made to order eggs and pancakes. The garden of the hotel was very well maintained and was beautiful."

"I really enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff. They were welcoming and didn’t hesitate to answer any questions I had. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. With a lot of beautiful views all around. I had used the spa services (jacuzzi, dry sauna, steam room, and a massage) and they exceeded my expectations. The waitstaff at the restaurant were kind and attentive. And, I tried a lamb shank with mashed yucca and it was flavorful and delicious. The included breakfast also had a great assortment of options. If you are looking for peace and quiet and friendly staff and spa amenities, this is the place to go. The compound felt safe and secure and the resident alpacas were an added bonus to the serenity of the space. I would definitely book here again."
