"The staff was so helpful. We hit bad weather and are travel was delayed and Expedia system canceled out room after 11pm. When we called to verify travel (due to weather) was delayed. We literally had no room to sleep and the staff figured out for us."

"Hotel was situated in a good stop. Close drive to Robert Treman State Park. You can walk to Buttermilk State Park. Close drive to Watkins Glen Falls State Park. Close to Cornell Botanical Gardens and Ithaca town. Rooms were clean, staff were helpful. Breakfast was good. Just thought it was silly that they charged $4.17 plus tax for parking. Overall my stay was good."

"Bathroom was large for ADA accessibility but no counters for toiletries, even the sink surface was slanted and not usable to put toothbrush etc. Limited flat surfaces in room (no desk as shown in pictures). For a studio room there were no utensils, cups or plates. They could be purchased and taken with you when checking out (included fry pan and pot but there is no hot plate?). Tried to see if a card could be mailed and was told there was no certainty when mail would be picked up."

"Charming property with delightful rooms. Victorian decor and old world charm. Staff was friendly. No elevator but stairs to second floor were manageable. Beautiful view from 3 sides in the Garden room. Location was convenient to walk to the falls. Bright dining room. Had an excellent dinner and continental breakfast. "Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was very poor. There was a thick layer of dust under the bed and underneath the furniture, which severely triggered my allergies. The bathroom was also not properly cleaned. There was mold in the grout lines and around the edges of the bathroom door. Overall, the level of cleanliness was very disappointing and did not meet basic expectations. I hope these issues will be addressed for future guests."

"This is one of those local places that offered exactly what I needed for a fantastic price. In fact, the standard king size bed was a wonderful plus for me. The room was comfortable, welcoming and perfect. The staff member I spoke to the most was just so helpful, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was really a nice continental breakfast with coffee offering and was consistently good. I will recommend this to others who may travel that way.
