"Very basic cabin with tiny cramped bathroom. Heating was only in the living room and doesn't quite reach the bed rooms."

"after stopping by from seeing penguin, i think this is the great place for staying over night. location only few minutes from penguin place and closed to big supermarket and cafes, but you must hv yr own car though.beach is only few minutes walk.I am not sure when summer, because I only experience in winter on july."

I can imagine staying in the summer more opportunity to use all the facilities available including the outdoor pools, basketball courts, and outdoor spaces. The restaurant was not open on the days we were there (Sunday evening arrival, stayed Monday). Our purpose was to see the penguins so we didn't mind too much. Cowes is very close and has lots of supermarkets to pick up needed items if necessary. There is water...
