"The Four Seasons Westcliff was our first stop upon arriving in South Africa, where we met up with family and friends who reside in Johannesburg. We were warmly greeted at check-in by Precious the process was very smooth. Very much appreciated after flying for over 30 hours from California. "When we arrived the property was closed. Two phone numbers that were associated with this hotel were "out of service". With the help of our driver and the hotel's neighbor we were able to see some person who came from the back of the hotel (most likely he was security guard). The person told us the the property is closed because they don't have water and all reservations are canceled (two or three days before our arrival). This person kept saying that he is not a manager and cannot do anything....

"The room was in good condition. The staff was very helpful and kind. But the noise from the bar was just too much, especially the first night. We had just traveled for 20+ hours. We didn’t get any sleep that first night. It didn’t end till after three in the morning. The next night it went on for a while. It wasn’t as loud, but we were unable to sleep. The third night was better still lots of noise from downstairs people screaming, and a lot of Bass coming through. The food was very good as...
