"The staff, room, ambience, golf course, friendliness and welcome were all exceptional Loved it "

"The room was a bit small and the aircon was noisy to start with and settled to an acceptable level. Breakfast is not available and the receptionist only suggestion was to go to McDonalds which I thought was a bit poor as there are a number of eatery's in Rockhampton that are much better."

"Lovely clean room, staff pleasant and helpful. Couple of minor things, no light above the kettle and tea making area in the cupboard. It was very difficult to fill the kettle under the tap to the sink in the bathroom, in fact we used one of the mugs to fill it!"

"This is the perfect way to enjoy 1770. Directly across from the calm 1770 foreshore. The vibe of the cabins are tropical island getaway chic - open doors, bamboo, hammock. I stayed here with my three kids. Additionally, the host, Jan, is the loveliest person, very responsive and kind in her approach. Will only be staying here in the future when visiting my favourite place in Aus - worth every cent. "

"The island was beautiful. The cabin was adequate Only feedback would be that a towel change in 3 days would have been nice. The air conditioner was vibrating the whole cabin at times, keeping that room awake. Main bed was uncomfortable mattress. Dining table was falling apart. Broom broke (rusted) first day. Staff were lovely in the restaurant and reception. Cabin number one. "

"We had a smoke detector alarm going off all day/night and a washing machine that did not work."
