"This was my 2nd time staying at Contessa. First experience was flawless with a room upgrade from the receptionist, which she was amazing and great customer service. This 2nd time was a whole other story. First, the greeting receptionist was just meh. Nothing special about her customer service and she seemed a bit bother by her job and attending other customers. The room that was given to us was old. Nothing compared to the first room that we got the first time. This one was outdated, bathtub seemed dirty but it was just old. All the furniture was old, fixtures and such as well. To be paying a high amount for a room you would expect a more modern, updated room.
Now, the second receptionist, bad customer service. No greeting, she seemed way more bothered than the first one. When I asked a question, she was on her phone and just looked up at me with an annoyed look and just nodded her head. No response, nothing.
Overall, we paid too much for an outdated room. Receptionists need some customer service training. This time I give this hotel a 2.5 out of 5."
