"This was a last minute getaway for my husband and I. We were very happy with the property. The price was reasonable, the staff was friendly and helpful. The Location was convenient for the beach and all that the area offers. The bed was comfortable and loved that it had free parking. Much better property than the place we stayed at a couple years ago that was right on the beach boulevard. We look forward to staying here again."

"A very sweet old inn. The magnolia room was very clean, tastefully decorated, and spacious. I enjoyed the coffee station right outside the door and the bottled water in the min-fridge was a nice bonus. The shared bathroom was newly updated and very clean. The front porch rockers were lovely to sit and read. There is currently no food on site so bring your own or dine out- the owners provide a good book of suggestions. It’s an easy .6 mile walk to beautiful North Beach which is much less crowded...

"The room was adorable and well-appointed…newly renovated. We loved the colors, the layout, the fridge, the Nespresso, and the large balcony. A very comfortable stay. The shower was extremely small, and we are petite women. The beach is not one for sunbathing as it has huge rocks all over…but the area behind this property is super cute. You can drive down the street and pay $3/hr at the nice part of the beach, but we were very happy with where we chose to stay as the boardwalk area is a bit...

"Our assigned room had not been cleaned/turned over when we arrived in the evening. We were reassigned to a basement room which was super damp. Sheets, towels etc felt moist. Gross. Then the door's electronic "card swipe " lock just stopped working half way through our stay. Even the master card wouldn't work. Thank goodness there was an old school key that we used for the rest of the stay. Toilet was also not working properly. Nice staff but this place needs some TLC."

"Ok for a stopover after a long drive but definitely needs some TLC. Venting in the elevator loose and falling off and just little things like that make it feel dated. My kids loved the pool after a long drive."
