"I had a good stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Austin South. It’s a solid business hotel with everything you need for a comfortable trip. The room was clean and well kept, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and I appreciated having access to a pool, gym, and bar/lounge. The staff was welcoming and nice. The location was also convenient, close to the freeway and near a Walmart, which made quick stops easy. Overall, a reliable and very pleasant place to stay in Austin."

"I was really disappointed with my stay. The hotel itself feels very outdated, and unfortunately, we had a major issue with our room. Our bathroom flooded twice during our visit, and the source of the problem was never identified. We did eventually figure it out when it flooded the second time. It was the sink and I’ll include the video. While the cleaning crew was kind and did their best to help, the front desk staff was unhelpful and dismissive. Despite the repeated flooding and uncertainty...

"Our room had these odd wooden blocks screwed to the floor on the left side of the bed. They were obstructed by the bed skirt so they weren’t noticeable until you hit them with your foot! The bar was okay but they didn’t have anything to drink (non-alcoholic) aside from Diet Coke and squirt during dinner. Speaking of dinner, the cafe doesn’t stay open for dinner so you have to order dinner at the bar. The poor bartender was on her 5th day of employment (she told us) and was running back and forth...

"Just OK. For the price we got compared to the surrounding hotels it was fine. To start with the whole property is old. The outside and the grounds are not very well taken care of. The parking lot needs a seal coat and there were rocks and debris all over the pavement. Exterior lighting out. The room was clean, bed was very comfortable and the A/C worked very well. The furnishing in the room is on its' last legs. It was old, worn, scraped, stained but functional. No smells in the room...
