"Parking is limited and not ideal. Hotel was very clean and rooms a good size. Breakfast was a bit chaotic with long waits for some items on some mornings. Staff were generally helpful but could not explain my check-out bill which contained items with confusing descriptions. i e drinks appearing as "lunch", etc. Hotel was in a good location, near beach and town center. Food was good and well presented."
"The staff were so incredibly helpful and kind and we ended up being able to park in the hotel parking lot, which was a nice surprise. The room definitely needed to be updated and didn’t match the photos (we had a huge shag carpet in our room over the original rug which was clearly used to cover a big stain but honestly really kind of gross). I wouldn’t say our room was all that clean but the bedding was spotless and the bed itself was comfortable. Location was fantastic, right across from the beach and a short walk to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was standard (coffee was bad). Again, can’t state enough how friendly and helpful the staff were."
"This is a gem.
We are high end travellers and this is probably the best service we have ever experienced. The staff were very attentive and obviously take great pride in their work and the property. The food quality was excellent and consequently we ate there most nights."
"We received a very warm welcome from the host. The room was very clean, spacious and with falbous Seaview. The breakfast was good and fresh. The host provided very useful tips in visiting and duning in Cornwall. Definitely we will revisit Cornwall and stay in Green Apple B&B."
"Mark and Fenella are excellent hosts. The Headland House is a great location, beautifully maintained, gorgeous rooms and incredible views. The breakfasts a pretty special too. We had a great stay at Headland House"
"We had a lovely 5 night stay here. Location is excellent. We initially planned to stay in St Ives but due to the parking situation decided to stay in Carbis Bay instead. And there is parking spaces at the property as well as on street parking
When we checked in , the lady was friendly and helpful
The room was clean, bed was comfortable, shower was great, had free wifi and fridge was stocked with juice, yoghurts, pastries as well as there being tea and coffee available and milk
Location was perfect. It’s a 5/10 min walk from Carbis Bay beach, which is a lovely, chilled out beach that looks absolutely beautiful. We had a wander to the next beach across through a lovely scenic route in the hills
Also St Ives is a 3/4 minute train ride from
Carbis bay, or a nice Half hour walk
Finally there were also some great places to eat nearby, we had an amazing fish and Chips at Becks which is just a few minutes walk away, had a couple of great meals at The Gannet and also picked up some yummy cakes from Yvettes Pantry which was a 10min walk away
There is also a Costcutter right next to the property which came in handy, as well as a Tesco roughly 10/15mins away"
