"We had a good sleep in this hotel for 6 nights. That is the most important thing. The beds and linens were clean and didn't smell like toxic chemicals. The bathroom ceiling had been poorly repaired, and wasn't finished all the way. There was black stuff on the ceiling, a pretty big amount, that looked like black mold, but they were booked so we couldn't get a new room. Our A/C also broke for almost two whole days, but the maintenance guys were very quick to come fix it. They had to come three times, but finally got it repaired on the third try. It wasn't the end of the world. We were comfortable. I probably wouldn't book that hotel again, but it was good enough, and the staff were great!"
"When we got to our room, the A/C was not working. I tried to call the front desk via the room phone and it was not working.
I went to the front desk, explained about how hot it was and that the HVAC was only blowing hot air. The gentleman at the counter said he would get someone up to our room as soon as possible. I then asked if we could switch out room to one that had working AC?
I was informed that since we were ina suite, that he would have to see if any other suites would be booked for the night before he could switch us rooms. This was due to the fact they only have so many suites"
"We loved this hotel, but did not love the added costs that kept adding up.
We loved the cleanliness and location of this hotel! It was great to walk across the street to the arch and be in close proximity to so many other local spots. There is a gift shop, restaurant and Starbucks connected on the first floor. We traveled with our dogs and had no issues at check-in and enjoyed that there was green space associated with the arch available so close. There was a $100 non-refundable pet fee.
When we booked we were aware of the $40/day self-park but it wasn’t until check-in that we were told that self park was unavailable every Friday and Saturday. If you want to park on Friday and Saturday the only thing available is valet for $50/day. With that being said, the valet service and people working it were very friendly, helpful and welcoming (sometimes more than the hotel staff). Breakfast is also an additional cost and the Starbucks line is often lengthy with no order ahead available. This didn’t make or break our trip, but is helpful to know for future visits!"
