Don't plan on getting access to your room right away! We arrived 3 hrs. early and asked to check our bags as the room was not yet ready. We returned at check in time and still had to wait an additional 1.5 hrs. for check in. The room itself was fine. The bar on site did not opened until 5:30 pm and the restaurant was less than desirable in atmosphere, quality of food and more. the best thing about this Hotel is that it is walking distance from the Charolotte Amilie Ferry. If you're taking an early ferry and don't mind walking to town it may work for you.

We checked in at 6 p.m. and our room wasn’t ready. We had to wait about 25 min for a room. The air conditioning did not cool properly. We reported it to the front desk, they said that engineering would look at, but it was never fixed. We didn’t have a hair dryer in the room and were told that there was a shortage of hairdryers. They brought a travel size hairdryer that was at the end of its life and started smelling like it was burning as soon as I plugged it in. The location of the hotel is pretty good, but it is definitely outdated and probably understaffed.

The room was clean! A little outdated and needs some minor to moderate TLC. The staff was amazing and very helpful!! The only issue I had is the lack of food options available in the area near the hotel. The hotel has so much potential and needs an owner who cares about the property. When that happens, the hotel will easily become 5 stars. The restaurant on the property closed down a year ago and needs to be revamped.

A pair of my shorts fell from my balcony, and I immediately notified hotel staff, clearly explaining the exact location where the item had landed. I was initially told by staff that nothing had been found. However, after I insisted and reiterated the precise location, the same item was suddenly “found” and returned by the same staff who had previously denied seeing it. This situation is concerning, as it raises questions about the handling of guest property and the accuracy of staff communication. While I am relieved the item was ultimately returned, the circumstances surrounding the situation were unprofessional and unsettling.

There was much to be desired but that did not take away from the overall pleasant experience I’ve had while staying in the area. The hotel is located is situated in the capital which is a great and historic area with a nearby ferry, picturesque views, various activities and friendly, helpful locals. The staff is responsive, welcoming, kind and as helpful as can be.

Bay view from the room was nice on some mornings seaplanes would land in the bay waking us up in the early morning. We asked one of the front desk workers if she could take a picture of us seeing that the lobby was empty with no else checking in and she seemed bothered by our request.

The ocean was not visible from my room. It would have been nice to have electrical outlets close to the bed/night stand. The outlets were all being used for lamps etc. and the only available one was behind the little fridge across the room.

Expedia advertised it falsely by stating there was a white Sandy beach and there was not a Sandy beach but 20 minutes away false advertisement. Overpriced. Poor restaurant, food, limited selection, and overpriced.

The security staff was great. That’s about all I can say about the property. The pictures are a poor representation of what you actually get. The bathroom is covered in lime and rust. I’m sure from the water quality. Sheets yellowed again I’m sure from the water quality. During our stay the hotel ran out of water. The restaurant is over priced, it stinks, and it’s out dated. The other positive thing is that it is close to the ferry and close to downtown.

We had a clean room, the maid came thru daily and replenished our towels swept up our sand and mopped the floors, and made the beds. The security there were nice and helpful. Didnt see any roaches like other reviews. Our stay was very pleasant with a nice ocean view. The breakfast they offered was good and affordable. Id stay here again.

This place was phenomenal, the hotel room was a great price with a great view, the staff was very courteous and helpful, th rooms were very clean the only negative about it is we ate breakfast in the restaurant and breakfast cost $65. Quite a bit overpriced but other than that everything else was great.
