"This property has an amazing location that is walkable to downtown. It is well maintained and has the great relaxed vacation vibe with for hanging out at the firepits and hot tub. The bed was comfortable and the suite was stocked with everything we needed for comfort. The staff was very responsive and very accommodating. We would stay hear again anytime we go to Estes Park."

"The bed was hard and they need to redo/ rearrange their asphalt access and driving paths near the office. I would come stay again bit might try a different room."

They also had robes for after you get out of the jacuzzi, 10/10 recommend this place and I will definitely be booking again."

"I see the reviews on this hotel are mixed. It was an excellent stay for my spouse and I, but I don’t think it’s for everyone. It’s unique. If you are looking for a luxury inn, or a copy/paste-style corporate hotel, you’re looking at the wrong property. We LOVED it here! The rooms are somewhat tiny, and yes, a bit dated. "We stay in a family suit with two queen beds and a sofa bed, the queen beds are very clean, but the sofa bed is broken, and also some crumbs trapped inside. The staffs are friendly and helpful, and the maintenance managed sent a rollaway bed to us shortly after we report the issue. "My wife and I recently stayed at Blue Door Inn in Estes Park, and we had a wonderful experience. The location was excellent—close to Rocky Mountain National Park, downtown Estes Park, restaurants, and shopping, while still being quiet and relaxing. "Was charged extra $50 for dog when I had specificity reserved a pet friendly room. This was not mentioned in Expedia. Also the complementary breakfast was for just 2 people in our party of 4! Had to sign a waiver where if the dog barks they would install a barker unit to stop that. This was also not on Expedia. Please look into all this before you sign up for this location."

"The gal in the office was amazing - so kind, friendly, and helpful! We loved our room. The kitchenette was perfectly what we needed, and the shower was great. The lock didn't work in the bathroom door. Otherwise, everything was good. Not much breakfast, but we bought eggs at a nearby Safeway and were able to cook our own breakfast in our room. Great view and away from the busyness downtown! We loved it and would definitely stay again."

"Had a great one-night stay here. The staff was very accommodating throughout! We checked in super late after informing them beforehand, and they had arranged the keys for us which made the process seamless. We also had to check out very early in the morning, and the drop box system made that extremely convenient as well. The room was clean and comfortable, and the view of the Rocky Mountains from the balcony was beautiful. Overall, a smooth and pleasant stay."

"The floor in our room was filthy. The bottom of our feet and socks were black. Would be beneficial if the floors were cleaned wth soap and water after each guest use. Also, the sheets were old and didn’t fit the mattress properly."

"Bathroom shower area was not very clean. Top ledge of shower in right corner had someone's old soap wrapper and left corner had a huge dust or hairball. Husband took pics of shower to show what he thought was mold and they said it wasn't. Not a 4 star establishment."
