Hotel Valentino

10/10 Excellent

"The front desk staff was wonderful Lorenzo greeted me with welcome smile explained all service hours was very kind and helpful Matilde and chiara were wonderful as well I definitely will go back breakfast needs improvement it’s a wonderful Place very clean room did not use the spa"

Hotel Monteverde

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely, a wonderful family heritage hotel near Acqui Tera. The onsite, La Teva restaurant is fabulous. I had purchased a white truffle in Alba & had travelled with it for 2 days in my car, in the hopes of finding the right restaurant that could accommodate my wish to have it with a pasta dish. Well, Gabriela, at this hotel & restaurant, thought nothing about it. I had the truffle experience of my dreams… Grazie Mile Sabine & Gabriela❣️"

Cascina Marcantonio

8/10 Good

"Absolutely stunning location, right in the middle of the vineyards. Beautiful old building, lovingly restored. Star of the show though was the food. Definitely worth eating here rather than driving into Acque Terme, the food is fantastic and definitely recommended. Only two downsides. Our check-in was not that welcoming. The family run the agriturismo and live on site, of course, and we sensed a bit of tension between the lady and her son over his homework. Maybe. Whatever, we didn't feel that welcome and we felt that we had caught her at a bad time. The other downside was that the shower leaked into our room (our room was called Lys, if the owners read this). Easily fixable with a better waterproof strip on the inside of the shower door to keep the water out."

Laficaia Wine Resort

10/10 Excellent

"I would highly recommend staying at Laficaia wine resort if you are visiting the Mombaruzzo area. Enrico and Mauro were truly wonderful hosts and made every effort to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. The property is beautiful and the views are incredible! The pool was fantastic during the hot days. Breakfast was also delicious each morning. We had dinner one night down the road in town and the hosts offered to drive us there and pick us up after which was extremely kind and considerate. I hope to return to this beautiful resort someday in the future! It was a dream."

Relais Almaranto

10/10 Excellent

"Our stay here was exceptional, albeit after a couple of misunderstandings - that were efficiently addressed and swiftly put right. The hotel itself is very grande and the design throughout is tastefully done which, compliments the grounds and stunning panoramic views. The staff was always friendly and eager to help point us in the right direction. The location is very convenient for driving to all the top vineyards in the area. My girlfriend and I really enjoyed out time here and look forward to coming back later in the year for truffle season."
