"We had a fantastic time here. Our host greeted us upon arrival and asked if we would like to participate in an authentic tea ceremony. We got dressed in provided outfits, and the kids loved making matcha tea with the host. We loved the two levels, the indoor and outdoor baths, and the washing machine (kids use up a lot of clothes). "Fantastic hotel and 2 bed suite was amazing. We wish we’d booked longer. The happy hour was exactly what we needed, too! The free sake tasting and craft beer was so nice. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Mimaru has a great set up and we’ll definitely use it again when we return to Japan."

"We loved our stay at Saju Kyoto. We arrived early and they looked after our bags until it was time to check in. When we checked in we were served matcha tea and Japanese cakes in our room. The room was very tiny but so comfortable, cosy and traditional. The futons were the most comfortable beds we had during all our time in Japan!

"We had a wonderful stay, so much so we cancelled our last night in Tokyo to stay in Kyoto an extra day. Perfect Japanese style with a modern twist. The location is impeccable and the staff are so lovely. My daughter got sick from some food at Disney Sea days prior and they were so nice when she “got sick” in the front entrance. The bed was so nice it was like sleeping at home …And the bathroom I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS. Cannot wait to return sans sick kids 😂. Thanks so much!"
