"While I understand i had booked nonrefundable room, so I am not eligible to claim the cancelation, how ever I couldnt travel due to flight cancelation and had to completely postpone my plan. I have booked for 3 days, I would have appreciated if they provide some compensation or credit considering my situations so that I could have utilized in future. They were not helpful in even hearing what I was going through in mid way where I was waiting for 6 hours in airport midnight. I prefer to avoid...

"Exterior facade floodlight shines directly into the room, making it almost impossible to sleep. If you're going to keep your floodlights on 24/7, at least install curtains that guests can close to block out the light.
Basement hallway smells like it was recently flooded.
Someone was sleeping in the basement lobby area. Do not recommend staying here with your kids."

"It's a nice looking property from the outside but not in the best of neighbourhoods.
The smoke detector on the 2nd floor didn't have a cover on it so not sure if it worked.
I had to ring the owner up at 23.00 as I couldn't get the front door opened. You had to pull the handle as you entered the door code."

"I booked this place months in advance. The day of, the host sends me a message to call him to discuss the reservation. He provides no phone number. After looking and finding the number, I call him. He tells me there is an issue with the 'tenant' and the location has changed. I ask him if the new place is compatible and he assures me it is. He tells me he will send the new location shortly. It is now about 9:40am. Noon time comes around and I have not heard back from him so I message again....
