"Loved the convenience to Salado’s Main Street and yet since the property was not in the town it was very quiet, serene and relaxing. My favorite was sitting in the rockers on the porch and watching the clouds and the birds. The rooms in the main house are super clean and beautifully decorated. The food was fabulous and owners are delightful. Will definitely visit there again. "

"The staff was very kind and very helpful when needed however, when I first got there, I noticed the TV wasn’t working. There was some weird crumbs in the bed and the shower had stains in it. I wasn’t unhappy, but definitely would like to feel comfortable on taking a shower if needed. I got the TV fixed the remote needed batteries that wasn’t a big deal. Some of the random crumbs in the bed that was made for us was a little odd, but overall not too bad."

"Staff was very flexible for last minute reservation but there were to much bugs in the room, comforters has burnt cigarettes on it."

"I made a reservation for a NON-SMOKING room. Immediately upon opening the door, I could smell the signs of cigarette smoke in the room. I found cigarette burns on the bathtub, where cigarettes were left on the edge of the tub. I also found a burn hole in the linen on the bed. There was no remote in the room for the TV. I talked to the individual at the front desk, and was told that all rooms of the establishment were non-smoking. There were non-smoking signs on a few rooms, but there was...
