"This is an exceptional place to stay near Malpensa Airport. Eva is very efficient & helpful regarding check in and shuttle to from MXP (included in room price). This was the most comfortable bed & room of our one month in Italy, & we had a lot of comfortable rooms! Breakfast space is light & tasteful, excellent choice of food."

"Lovely place with great views and very helpful and friendly hosts. They helped with great ideas to make the most of our evening in the area before flying out from MXP. "

"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car. I also have a couple suggestions to make the room even better:
-Provide a properly functioning coffee machine (Ours only produced 1-2 tablespoons of coffee. Maybe...

"Nous avons reçu un excellent accueil de la part de tout le personnel, toujours très disponible pour apporter des informations si besoin.
L'hôtel est irréprochable en terme de propreté et d'équipement.
Très bien situé: proche du centre et d'un embarcadère avec parking.
Un grand merci à tout le personnel!!!"
"We had the first floor suite or mini apartment with fridge (freezer box above it) microwave, kettle, full size dishwasher and sink. They kindly left us a bottle of red wine and biscuits and two bottles of water. We went to Conad supermarket which wasn’t far by car, we are driving. Or Carrefour express within walking distance in town. Many restaurants locally. Being British we don’t like to eat late. We can recommend Centrale as they were always busy and cooked all day.
The view! WOW! We had a large covered terrace which was great in April as it did rain. We could still enjoy outside. Note you would not get the sun on room 106. Sun sets behind the hotel so I would go for a ground floor room with the grass area. Sun set last there. We did get noise from the breakfast room below us and anyone drinking at night. Superking size bed, lots of storage for clothes. Large double vanity bathroom and sofa bed in the lounge. Dining table and chairs also on the patio with two sun loungers. Honestly we struck lucky with this hotel. Short walk to ferry terminal to get to the islands. We did Isola Bella it was stunning. But don’t eat at the sandwich stall with yellow tablecloths. Hubby got food poisoning on our last day. He ate the hot dog, I didn’t so we know exactly what it was.
Staff here are excellent, we did a load of laundry for 10€ so handy as we had run out of various items. Bed comfortable. We got a free parking space across the road under the trees. Loved this hotel "
"We are extremely disappointed with this stay, especially as returning guests who previously had much better experiences. Unfortunately, the hotel has clearly gone downhill and no longer reflects a 5-star standard. The room was poorly cleaned with dust throughout, a dirty bathroom, cigarette butts on the balcony, and a strong smell of smoke despite requesting a non-smoking room. This is completely unacceptable.
Room service was also poor, with missing items and cold, low-quality food. Breakfast was disorganised and frustrating — staff were unhelpful, coffee repeatedly had to be requested as it was not available at the buffet, and service in general was extremely slow. We also asked several times for tea and coffee, but it took far too long to arrive. Although I specifically asked for gluten-free bread, none ever arrived, and when we asked if there was any fresh gluten-free bread or pastries available, none were provided. We travel frequently, and this is the first time we have stayed in a 5-star hotel where there were no fresh gluten-free products available at all, apart from a few sealed processed items. This is far below expected standards.
The hotel also states it is pet friendly, however dogs are not allowed in the restaurants, which was disappointing. As a result, we had to find nearby dog-friendly restaurants instead.
Public areas were overcrowded and noisy, particularly the pool, with little control from staff. Front desk service on arrival was indifferent and unwelcomin"
"The breakfasts are anazing, the room is nice, but a weird shape. The view is great, especially at the sunny and a bit if clouds weather. The heating is AC, so it takes time to warm up te room, the water takes quite some time to heat (3-5 min of cold water before hot water arrives). The bad is a nice size, nut for my 1.9 meters it was barely enough if I use a small pillow. So beds must be 1.9-2m, yake it into account. Atllthough, it is wide wnough to fit me diagonally + my loved one."
