"Guest Room was spacious and functional well for my stay. The mattresses were firm and comfortable, I slept like a baby. What an enjoyable experience staying at FossHotel Stykkisholmur.
I loved the folding glass panels in the shower room——Space saver and a brilliant idea to use the limited space in bathroom.
Our dinner (grilled salmon, scalloped with pickled celery) was delicious and good value.
I will stay at this hotel next time when I travel to this part of Iceland."

"Fire alarm went off when showering in evening and we couldn’t turn it off. Had to remove batteries. It was just after 10 so the office was closed.
Comfortable beds. Beautiful location.
It would have been nice to have a couch or comforter chair as well as the six dining chairs the apartment came with."

"This place was fantastic. This was the best breakfast that was included of any of the hotels in our 10 days in Iceland. The staff was so accommodating and flexible. I made a mistake and booked the room as a solo room despite traveling with my wife and they easily and happily resolved the issue. There is some really interesting and fun artwork hanging around the main area. The room was perfect. We had an excellent stay!"

"The property surroundings were beautiful and picturesque! My kids enjoyed the play structures/trampoline and exploring the hills behind the property. It also served as a great location for exploring the peninsula. We were all disappointed that the advertised hot tub was broken - it would have been nice to have been warned as such or compensated in some way as this was an amenity we were all looking forward to."
