"Nice and accommodating hotel."

"Every time we come back to the Royal, it never ceases to disappoint. The staff are the people who make this such a special and charming hotel. The warmest of welcomes and we were so well taken care of. Attentive and polite customer services, similar to that of Ashford Castle, that seems to be lost in many establishments these days. The only complaint we had, was that the bedroom was cold even with the small radiator up to its maximum temperature, and the fires had not been lit in the bar area...

"This was a comfortable relaxing stay in the lodges. The restaurant offered a good menu and the service was good. The leisure facility was also good but unfortunately the jacuzzi wasn’t working. We weren’t able to access the games room either. Nothing spoiled our stay and we would consider returning in the future. "

"Room clean. Towels thick, white and fluffy. Staff really nice and food in the Kailyard restaurant was excellent. Only downside was there was a problem with the heating so we were cold for the first 24 hours, but small heaters everywhere and engineers dealt with it"

"This was my 3rd brief stay.Each time,I have been welcomed & made to feel my visit matters to reception & waiting & bar staff. The room is chosen to protect me from the live music in the bar ,as I have requested .The rooms are very clean even if the carpet is a bit well -trodden.As a woman on my own, I have felt comforted by the friendly & helpful attitudes of everyone i have come across during my stays. Things to remember, they don't do breakfast but there are cafes and a hotel across the road for breakfast. The room was clean and well stocked for staying but a little dated. Very comfortable bed. "Lovely new property - had everything you needed and very spacious. Only thing was we couldn’t find instructions for the cooker and to put the hot water on but we nipped over to reception and they were helpful (with the hot water and we worked out the cooker!!). Fabulous stay and would love to come back!"
