"Extremely clean and well kept!"

"We visited Ballards with a group of friends to celebrate a 55th birthday, and we had a great experience. Three couples in our group stayed 2 nights, and the rooms were very nice, clean and quiet. Having an AC was a plus! We rented cabanas on the beach which made the experience even better. The food was very good, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. "Very unique and inviting hotel. Easy going vibe. Pool was a great ammenity. Breakfast was tasty and top floor restaurant was a scenic way to end the day."

"The employees, views were great. But: There was a green plastic floss pick the stood out on the dark carpet on the stairway. It was on the center of the step. Outside stairway going to the top level on Friday afternoon. Sunday afternoon it was still there. Maybe the floss pickup employee was on vacation during the weekend and the other employees had the “it’s no my job” attitude. I was tempted to pick it up but wanted to see how long it would sit there."

"Pros: It was clean. The bed was comfortable. It was close to the central part of town. it was nice to sit out on the porch. Cons. (for us) There are no ammenities. It is not like staying in a hotel. There is no ice machine, food, bar, etc etc. ( there was a mini fridge) We stayed in the first floor room. The sink was starting to separate from the wall. The toilet was rocky. The enamel is starting to peel off the tub. If you are looking for a very quiet, restful place, it is good."

"Was an okay-average stay. Room was clean and a good size. There was a lot of sand on the floor in the bathroom when we got there, which it’s on an island. The only thing that bothered me was the TV didn’t work at all, and the ceiling fan was broken. The staff didn’t really do anything about it. Other than that, a decent place to stay if you’re not looking for the bells and whistles experience."

"Hotel only opened a year ago and having a nice new room on block island is rare. Loved the place. Great location and wonderful amenities such as roof top deck and trendy restaurant/ bar. The check in process is different but seamless as no lobby."

"Do not get bamboozled like my family and I did. The photos are incredibly misleading and do not accurately represent the property. From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, I knew I had made a mistake. This is much more of a motel than a hotel. The first impression was disappointing, and unfortunately it only got worse. Check-in was unpleasant. The older woman at the front desk was rude, dismissive, and very short with her responses. Whether she was having a bad day or not, it wasn't a...
