Pleasant View Inn

"100% will come back again! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. I felt like family. I did have a couple of things that contributed to four stars instead of five. One was that we had to drag our heavy suitcases up stairs. Next time I will just bring a duffel bag and backpack. The second was that the room could have been cleaner. We did unfortunately find some toenail clippings on the carpet when we arrived. We noticed that some of the other rooms did not have carpet and felt like that was the right move to make as the carpet was very old and holding onto the smells of ocean water. However, I felt like the rest of the hotel was clean and our bathroom was clean and the best shower of our 10 day trip where we stayed at five different hotels. So that was very exciting. Also prepare for a very laid-back stay. If you want new towels or toilet paper, you’re better to go down to the front desk and ask for it. It really does feel like a family environment. And it is right on the ocean, which we loved! The bartender was very kind and quick. We were on a girls trip and enjoyed getting our drinks from the bar and sitting out on the patio and the beach. It was a great time and like I said, I would simply pack better the next time!"

"It’s a great location within walking distance of restaurants of all price ranges and a brewery. The room we stayed in was showing its age. They need to start redoing rooms, but all in all it was fine."

"The shuttle people were extremely friendly and helpful. It was so nice to enjoy all the amenities the resort offered. The pool was advertised as heated, but we found it a bit cold. I think the mudslides were mediocre, not enough alcohol. The girls in the coffee shop very accommodating and pleasant. Overall we loved it and look forward to returning next year."

"Loved being ocean front. Room was a bit pricey. Wi-Fi was inconsistent, connecting and disconnecting frequently, cell service was no higher than 1 bar."

"The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bar and bartender made our stay very enjoyable. From the parking lot past the bar to the beach and Ocean was about 100 Ft. Great place to take the grandkids for a beach day"

"The first moment we walked into the room my mother found someone’s fingernail clipping or lost pressed -on fingernail . While the room was a bit worn, the bathroom was newly renovated. The woman who was at the main desk was helpful and she also cleaned the rooms. Parking was fine. Air conditioning was good."

"Fabulous location near Misquamicut beach. Loved the private beach parking and bathrooms. The continental breakfast was good. Nice warm tasty muffins. The things to note is this is a true motel. Our room had a large main window facing parking area and pool. The downside to this was we were on the ground level and had to keep shade closed as everyone could see in. Could also clearly hear folks in next room. Very clean and well maintained"
