"I stayed at RACV Goldfields resort for 1 night as I was in Ballarat for the marathon. I couldnt believe the size of the room when I opened the door, it was huge, it even had a spa bath! I had to go back into my emails to check how much I paid for the night, as surely I paid much more than what I thought! But no, it was so reasonable priced for the room I was given. "A really nice property very close to Sovereign Hill. You need a car to get around town but it worked really well for 4 nights."

"We absolutely loved the old grandeur of this building - with surviving furniture and decor. Everything was old and glorious - i dont mind rough around the edges as this in itself tells a story of survival against the odds! These old buildings are very expensive to upkeep so the exterior needs attention, as does window frames. I can only wish that the property owner is budgeting for ongoing upgrades.
