"I had a pleasant stay at the Wekopa. The property is beautiful, well maintained and the room was spacious. The breakfast at the WKP sports bar was fantastic, they offer Starbucks coffee.most of the staff were very friendly. Nice place to stay. Only 20-25 min from the Phoenix airport. "

"This property was so unsafe and the room was dirty, I left and went somewhere else and they refused to give me a refund. I felt extremely unsafe to stay here and didn't want to stay overnight. It was extremely loud, the room was on the ground floor, there were drug addicts and loiterers everywhere. Located in an unsafe part of town with no gate blocking outsiders from coming onto property. "The keys to the building entrance and to the rooms don’t work properly. I had to replace my key five or six times in five days. All the guests had that problem and kept prepping the entrance doors with rocks. Ridiculous. The hotel has unreliable lock system. "

Kitchen was stocked with essentials.
Floor was a little dusty. A broom was provided.
Hook for towel by shower was too high to hang towel.
Jaccuzi bath/shower needed caulking and cleaning or replacing (could tell it was old). I did not use Jaccuzi.
Bathroom floor had cracks in the tile.
Laminate flooring was old
Light switch for room is inconveniently located inside the room by the pass through door to next unit (not next to door).

"Checkin took 45 minutes and we were the second one in line. Ordered salmon and smash patty melt from the coyote Catina - it was absolutely terrible ( soggy broccoli, tasteless rice and weird smell). Would not stay again, especially for $200 + a night and $100 in food.

"Staff all around was rude, unhelpful and impatient, especially the cashiers.
Waited 20 minutes for an iron and almost one hour for other items and had to go to the front desk for them.
The property is dated and the rooms were dark and musty.
Kids had a mediocre time.
Didn't try the food other than the dipping dots
Late check out at 2pm is an additional $59.00
Wristbands used to open the gate out the parking lot don't work well.
Lady at time share kiosk seemed more like a used car salesman...

"Everything was very nice except for the person duty when we checked in, his mood was unprofessional and unpleasant. The hotel’s location is the best and the decor is so unique and fun! The free drink card was a very nice touch! Room was quiet, cooled perfectly and bed was comfortable. I would the hotel and just hope you are greeted properly when you check in!
