"The staff at Hotel Vajra are lovely....helpful, friendly and full of advice. The food is fine, with a good buffet style breakfast and eggs cooked to order. The garden setting gives some tranquillity amid the very busy Kathmandu streets, and the craftsmanship and historic feel to the hotel are highlights. The hotel's complimentary breakfast was also quite good; I even saw a person paying for breakfast, even though he wasn’t a guest there.
