Don’t sleep on level 11 top floor as you listen to a motor going all night think it’s the plain aircon unit on top of roof for whole building. Room needs more sound proofing. Other than this a nice little room for the night close to everything in the city.

Great location, and a nice small hotel. Some roadworks commences a bit early on a weekday. Elevators older but worked. Bathroom sink bit low for most adults. Showers a bit tight for those with larger frames. Newer rooms available, but we didnt get one. Single beds also slanted and skinny but clean! For the price was excellent value on Mardi Gras weekend.

There is lots of construction during the daytime It is so noisy. The property should have given a disclaimer while booking One of the staffs who checked in was very friendly

This is a lovely, reasonably priced little hotel; everything that you need but nothing that you don't. We parked in the car park under the Hilton Hotel which took a bit of finding due to new one way streets but with GPS it's probably OK. The building works going on next door were vaguely audible but weren't a problem at night or on Saturday. We'll stay there again.

Bad service not a 4 star
As soon as I entered I asked if they could help with the luggage as it’s rated 4 star the serice must be provided but the receptionist was like acting very superior and was telling don’t talk to me like that when asked why you are not providing luggage service ! I was like really ?? The lift is very a school qnd the bathroom for a 3 bed room was tiny ! Overall pathetic !

The location in the CBD is very good and the cleanliness of the room was great. The man on reception at checkin provided no greeting or interaction. We were not made aware of renovations taking place. A jack hammer woke us up at 0638 the following morning.

Great for short stay. Had a boutique double. Old and dated room but clean, neat and comfortable. The hotel is updating rooms by floor so I imagine the room we stayed in will be refreshed at some point. Perfectly comfortable for a three night stay. Spent most of our time out exploring Sydney so really only needed hotel for afternoon naps and to sleep!!!

Worth doing some research beforehand.
The hotel is perfectly situated. The foyer is wonderful and the staff very helpful. Unfortunately, there was construction going on in the building next door. Most mornings, we were awoken by loud banging from somewhere (I couldn't tell if if was above us or to the side). I called reception and they said, "Sorry, it's the neighbours." I realise this is not the hotel's fault, but it did affect our stay. Perhaps management might lodge a complaint with the neighbours. I don't mind a bit of noise (there are always sirens in the streets), but construction noise a 8am is a bit too much.

Decent choice for price over new years
It was an ok hotel. Not crazy about the sliding door that didn’t completely close the bathroom. Or that the temp couldn’t go below 21c. Beds and linens were nice. Location was great. And we got a great price for new years considering what other hotels cost. I wouldn’t start there again though.

Warmly greeted by staff on arrival. Our room was inviting, very clean and tidy. Our bed was so comfortable it was like sleeping in a fluffy cloud.

the property markets themselves as a charming boutique hotel but my experience was anything but that. I undestand I may have gotten the worst room of the lot and that there may be some charming accommodation within the property but our room was terrible. The toilet was in one corner with a floor to ceiling plastic shroud around it and in the other corner was the shower, with the same privacy set up. In between (at the foot of the bed) was the vanity. From this, you can deduce, there was no bathroom. The room was tiny, with no place to even put a case. The window was frosted glass so you couldn't see out and the block out blind didn't work. Lighting was poor so the application of make-up was next to impossible (so my wife told me). There was no place to sit as the (small) chairs provided was the only place a case could fit. I was there with my wife and there was no room to even walk past one another without brushing up against. On top of this, if you're driving, find another property as there is no on-site parking. Do yourself a favor and give this place a miss unless you know exactly what you're getting for a room and don't trust the photo's from the web page.
