"Not a stranger to Hideaway, I’ve been going for years. It’s not flash, and only had one restaurant available during our stay, but it’s a special place. It’s the staff that make it, they are pretty much all amazing, and the reason I keep coming back. They say at Hideaway that you arrive as guests and leave as family and it’s true. "Everyone was so friendly and kind. Excellent staff. Unfortunately, the day spa advertised as open 7 days a week was not available. Beautiful beach front area to enjoy cocktails in the evening. Easy walk down the lane to a couple of restaurants. Would be even better if the staff provided a Kava ceremony in the evening for guests. Lovely location. "

"My review is for the Pacific Romance villa. Decent sized room but my main priority was having a water outlook. Over the pool to the ocean. All staff are very Fiji friendly and will soon know your name. Dinner orders can be taken at around 4.30pm so just turn up at the appointed time 😀. I thought infinity pools were a gimmick but I so loved it looking at the ocean. Bonus that it's close to a supermarket and other restaurants. Sorry that I missed the reef walk, but I definitely enjoyed the basket weaving. A wonderful alternative to large resorts. "

"This is a great destination stay! Spacious rooms, great staff, great amenities and located directly across the road from the ocean. An ideal location on the Coral Coast. Close to Sigatoka town. A Must Stay destination!"

"This resort is a beautiful, quiet, near perfect place to relax, if you can overlook a few short comings. We stayed in the beachfront bure with plunge pool, and I highly recommend it. The ocean is very calm, the waves crash about 100 yards onto the reef and very few waves reached the shore. There is coral and sea life everywhere. When the tide is high it is chest deep, good for swimming and kayaking, and when the tide is low, you can walk very far out and look at the sea life. The property is very well maintained and very natural with palm trees and coconuts lying every where. The staff can call you a car and it’s a short drive to nearby shopping and restaurants and the driver will wait in town until you are ready to head back. The short comings I mentioned are mostly the staff and the food. The staff means well and are very nice, but could do much better. For instance, it took three days of asking to get a tv remote. We were pretty disappointed in the food and the fact that between the waitresses and cooks, they often didn’t get our orders right. We bought some snacks in town and skipped a few meals at the restaurant. We also learned that the snacks on their menu were better than their main dishes. Having said all of this, we would definitely stay here again because we don’t let a few issues ruin a great stay. We loved that it wasn’t crowded and has no kids. It felt completely fine to sunbathe and swim at our bure with or without clothes. It’s a 90 minute ride to Nadi airprt"
