"Wonderful stay"

"Absolutely loved our time at Basecamp. The location is perfect, at the edge of the Masai Mara, we heard the lions at night, while sleeping. The staff all of them, were so friendly and helpful from the front staff to the night guards. Camp on a river, so you see the animals come for water, open view to see them roaming across the river! Perfect setting! So peaceful! The best cook Enoc! You don't want to miss his food! We booked 2 nights and ended up staying three! Loved the Masai Mara,...

"The staff was extremely pleasant especially Anne, Cate and Duncan. Making sure we were always taken care of!"

"Lorian is a cosy small camp with very good staff. Food was good and location excellent...close to the air strip and fairly close to possible sightings. The Lorian team made the trip memorable with their superb and always helpful attitude. Will go back on next trip and happy to recommend."

"Without a doubt, one of the best camps I have ever stayed at! Mara Major camp made our visit to the Masai Mara as special and unforgettable as it could be. It’s a unique ecolodge that works closely with the Maasai community, making your stay meaningful and allowing you to directly support the local community. "Good property we’ve stayed at for years. Love everything but the food. Great place for the money and really close to the game park. We take a group of almost 30 people there every year."

"Lodge complex within Masai Mara National Park which makes it very convenient Lodges are in the process of being repaired Food was very good, staff are great fun and incredibly helpful Hotel secured us a guide to explore the Park at short notice. "

"never visited worse place than this. starting from reception all the way down. hidden charges, impolite people, mosquitoes, electric city, guost like at nite, cant get any worse. especillay when you pay double the charges than othar places, and other camp I stayes was half price and 100% better."

"We really loved this location. It was our third time in Masai Mara so I can compare to Keekorok and Royal Maison. Royal Maison was nice, but this property is more level and the tents are closer to the reception and each other, yet still quite private. The electricity ran all night long, and there was cell service and data from the tents. The location is great as it is outside the gate of the reserve and very close to it. The food was amazing. So tasty and beautiful presentation. And the...
