"An incredibly special hotel that commands a beautiful location overlooking the town of Santa Margharita Ligure. The grounds are spectacular and the staff could not had been more helpful or welcoming. Breakfast on the wrap around terrace admiring the spectacular views was an absolute pleasure. "What began as a trip with a beautiful sea-view room quickly turned into a sanitation and safety hazard. Upon arrival, we discovered a massive ant colony living inside the walls. My two small children and I were bitten multiple times. Because the hotel had no other large rooms available, they offered to split our young family into two separate rooms—an unacceptable option. Desperate, I agreed to let them spray, and that night, the staff and I literally had to hunt and kill 100 to 200 ants...
