"The floor of my room was dirty during all my stay for days "

"Great location in Coconut Grove near many good restaurant options. The problem with this hotel is the front desk staff. Terrible treatment of customers. Only one person working during check in / check out. There was a line of 15 to check out. Tried to gently ask the person at the desk if anyone could help and she snapped at me that she "was alone" as though it were my fault (meanwhile there was what seemed to be a manager in the office nearby who did not jump in to help). She refused to print me a receipt saying it was through Expedia. I always book through Expedia and no hotel has ever denied me a receipt. Particularly since I needed the receipt for the incidentals which is directly with hotel. Overall very unprofessional front desk staff. Loved the hotel, it's unfortunate that they don't have a better trained and more customer friendly front desk staff. "

"Historic building, good restaurants, pool and golf facilities. The building shows it age and although the room was well decorated and comfortable the general condition of the building fabric especially outside is in need of refurbishing, one lady at the Italian restaurant wasn’t that helpful when we were considering making a reservation, was the only low experience as the rest of the staff and guests were polite and nice to talk to. Good hotel but for the rate would need modernisation especially with a resort tax of circa $99 night. Unlikely to stay again but was worth a visit"

"Room very dirty, tv was damaged with lines in the screen couldnt see the picture, water pressure was low extramly hot, the bkackbout curtain had so many holes it wasnt blocking any light, the fire alarm went off for a good 30 minutes, the stairs where blocked off by a gate that was locked only way down was the elevator, smelled old n moldy"
