"This property is tired. The carpet was disgusting in our room. The hallways were not much better. I realize there are not a lot of options in a small town but this place needs a remodel."
"If your looking for a night to rest only for cheap and old then this it . Breakfast was coffee..juice..toast...cereal...pancakes ...not alot of choices and it only from 6am to 9am which I found very short time frame. Need updated badly and more variety for breakfast."
"The breakfast isnt a breakfast not even a single muffin. The room was better than sleeping in a tent but it was overall poorly maintained. The sheets were clean and I didnt see signs of bedbugs so that was a plus. All and all it was good enough for a single night stop to shower and catch a little sleep. Wouldn't do it for several days in a row though. Oh and the carpet should just be torn out it is sticky and makes the room smell musty."
"Okay, so I really wanted to like this hotel. It's a midcentury building, and there are still some midcentury details that are honestly so cute and charming--like the ceiling in my room was just gorgeous. The orange and beige vinyl space-age couches in the lobby are stunning if a bit worn. My room had a patio and shared a fenced-in yard with the other rooms on my side/floor, and it was nice because my very active toddler was able to run around a little without running off. The beds were very comfortable, the sheets were clean and soft, and the staff were very nice.
Aside from the beds, though, this place is dirty. If you wear bare feet in the rooms, your feet will be black with dirt. I didn't trust the bathtub enough to bathe my son in it, and we actually ended up not even showering there and just waiting until the next place. The first room they gave us had a patio door that didn't unlock, but nor did it really close securely, so it was unusable as a patio door AND kinda felt like someone might break in through it if they didn't mind damaging it (they did move us to another room). The floorboards were very dirty, the fridge smelled, everything but the beds just looked gross. There are sketchy people hanging around who seem drugged out.
We booked two nights. We didn't really need two nights, we needed one night and a very late checkout, but we considered staying a second night initially since we booked it. We ended up not feeling comfortable staying a second night and left."
"Upon checking in there was no body soap in the container in the bathroom. Rooms are very small, with 4 people in the room. The breakfast in the morning was good."
"Really cool CCC-made cabins that are so solid. Cool inside but they have AC and a gas fireplace with a small fridge and TV with digital channels. LOTS of character. Some false ladybugs and you may get a visit from a resident mouse but put a granola bar out for her and she’ll party in the bathroom and stop making noise in the bedroom.
The restaurant food is really good—try the fish fry! And the area is beautiful and great for walking/hiking, birding, and fishing/wading. Plenty of parking."
